Vista Outdoor Announces Leadership Changes within its Outdoor Products Segment

Farmington, Utah, August 25, 2016 –Today, Vista Outdoor Inc. (NYSE: VSTO) announced leadership changes within its Outdoor Products segment. Jessica Klodnicki, formerly Vice President for Bell Helmets, Blackburn and C-Preme, is now the Vice President for Outdoor Recreation, which includes responsibility for the CamelBak and Jimmy Styks brands. Current CamelBak President, Layne Rigney, previously announced his resignation to the company.

“Jessica has done a tremendous job positioning Bell Helmets as a leading brand, and she was the natural choice to lead CamelBak and Jimmy Styks,” said Kelly Grindle, President of Outdoor Products.

“I think Jessica is just the right fit to lead CamelBak into the future,” said Rigney. “She inherits a strong, passionate team ready to take the business to the next level under the ownership of Vista Outdoor.”

Vista Outdoor is taking advantage of these changes to maximize the capabilities and strengths within its portfolio, resulting in realigning the segment’s brands into market areas, which include Outdoor Recreation and Sport Protection.

Greg Shapleigh, formerly the Vice President of Giro, Bollé and Cébé, is now the Vice President of Sport Protection, which includes responsibility for Giro, Bollé, Cébé, Bell Helmets, Bell Powersports, Blackburn, Krash, Raskullz, and Serengeti.

“Greg brings a legacy of strong leadership to the brands under his responsibility,” said Grindle. “I am confident this structure will provide additional brand focus, resources and strategic support for today and into the future as we expand and acquire new businesses.”

About

Growing up in Colorado you can't help but love the outdoors. Something magical happens with 300 days of sunshine and the Rocky Mountains in your back yard. My athletic endeavors started on the bike, I would get out and ride whenever I could. In 2011 I moved to Oxford, England for work. I missed the sunshine and mountains, but discovered my passion for running. When I moved back to Colorado I started combining cycling and running, so it was only natural that I started competing in triathlons. I took second place at my first sprint, and caught the bug. Today I'm training for my fourth Ironman.
