Phoenix, AZ – RWC Adventures has launched its newest event, the Halloween Dash 5k run/walk & Happy Feet Kids Run. This event will take place in Tempe, Arizona at Kiwanis Park on Sunday, October 30th.
“We’re always looking for new opportunities to get individuals active and families together. This gives everyone a chance to participate, and in costume, if they’d like!” says David Ranck, CEO & Events Director of RWC Adventures.
The event will benefit the Max Cure Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation that funds research for pediatric cancer drugs. This includes funding to discover less toxic treatments for children with cancer, and as its research mission, to fund an Immune Cell Therapy Lab at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. This will also financially assist low income and military families battling cancer in their children, and through advocacy, to pursue legislative and regulatory changes that seek to benefit children with cancer while raising awareness to the needs of those fighting pediatric cancer.
