Hartford Marathon Foundation Announces Aiello Inspiration Team at Eversource Hartford Marathon & Half Marathon

2016 team to be recognized for volunteerism and giving back to the running community  

August 19, 2016, Glastonbury, CT– The Hartford Marathon Foundation is pleased to announce the final selection of the 2016 Aiello Inspiration Team at the Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon. This year’s team includes inspiring individuals who volunteer and have made positive contributions to their communities; members are running in the event or volunteering their time and efforts during race week.  Included in the team is an honorary spot for the 2016 Collar Crew of the Eversource Hartford Marathon & Half Marathon, the dedicated group of about 70 volunteers who manage volunteers posts.

The Eversource Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K events will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2016, in Bushnell Park. Members of the Aiello Inspiration Team will receive special treatment, including custom event apparel, complimentary PRE Perks package including limited access parking, Mail My Packet service, personalized bib, VIP access on race morning and personal baggage check. Additionally, the team will be profiled in New England Runner magazine and in the Eversource Hartford Marathon Insider’s Guide.
