CeramicSpeed brings creative setup in Kona with artist Danielle Zirk

Boulder (CA), USA – As part of CeramicSpeed’s 2016 Kona activation, Danielle Zirk will help showcase CeramicSpeed’s passion for high quality, handmade approach and artistic precision. Building on the success of CeramicSpeed’s partnership with casual dining restaurant, Huggo’s On The Rocks, the highly accredited artist, Danielle Zirk, will live paint on site in the days that lead up to the 2016 IRONMAN World Championships.

CeramicSpeed’s Head of Business Development – Americas, Ben Powell, put words to the idea of bringing Danielle on board, “Our goal as a company is to communicate our passion for being the best. We feel this doesn’t always have to be done in a conventional way. Our collaboration with Danielle Zirk enables us to communicate this passion through artistic impression.”

Today Danielle Zirk is known to be “One of the most exciting new artists to come along in decades” says Mark Hanna, Professional Art Critic. Not only will Danielle Zirk live draw during the week leading up to the IRONMAN World Championship, Danielle will also create special, one-of-a-kind pieces of art for the CeramicSpeed group of sponsored athletes racing Kona this year. The list of triathletes includes Andy Potts, Jodie Swallow, James Cunnama, Åsa Lundström, Tim Don, Meredith Kessler, Tim Reed, Frederik Van Lierde, Michelle Vesterby, Tyler Butterfield, Leanda Cave, Lionel Sanders, Nils Frommhold and Maverick Multisport’s Laurel Wassner.

CeramicSpeed will be set up on the Big Island of Hawaii from Sunday, 2nd of October, on the lawn outside Huggo’s On The Rocks offering product sales, a casual lounge, along with professional mechanic’s service available to all CeramicSpeed customers. A public presentation to the athletes of Danielle Zirk’s art work is scheduled for the Wednesday 5th, at 4PM at the Huggo’s hBar.
