Bulls Bikes Blazons New eBikes, Traditional Models, Biergarten Party at Interbike 2016

Bulls Bikes, originally known in the U.S. for its value-focused mountain, road and cyclocross bikes and direct-to-consumer business model, is expanding into another cycling community and second business model with the unveiling of 16 Bulls eBikes, 11 of which will be at Interbike 2016, to crown a total 27 eBike fleet, which will be sold in retail stores only. Bulls will be celebrating its German-born roots, new sweeping collection of eBikes and traditional bikes at Interbike with the Bulls Bike Giveaway and Biergarten booth party on Thursday 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Bulls booth #5224.

Sharon Yu, general manager of Bulls Bikes, said, “We’re so grateful to everyone for supporting us and providing us a seemingly endless horizon of possibilities in the bike and eBike communities. And we’re so excited to add another business model of selling our eBikes through brick and mortar shops only, allowing us the opportunity to form and maintain meaningful relationships with dealers and independent bike dealers throughout the country.”

Through Bulls’ two business models of selling traditional bikes online-only and now selling its eBikes through dealers and shops only, it’ll now be able to reach more riders than ever and provide the entire cycling community a limitless selection of bikes.

In addition to its current comprehensive 11-eBike line, Bulls eBikes is making waves by broadening the eBike line with seven eCross and eTrekking bikes, 10 eMTBs and one full-suspension eFatbike. Including its new carbon eMTB, six of the Bulls 650b eMTB models will have plus-sized tires. Not only will the eBikes have premium specs that are top-end even by traditional bike standards, but the technology packed into the eBikes is reaching a new height, and speed with Bosch, Brose and SR Suntour mid-drive motor technologies.

One eMTB and four eTrekking models will have motors that can pedal assist a rider up to 28 mph, which under federal law is the maximum speed an eBike can assist before being considered a “motorized vehicle,” with the new Speed-Pedelec feature.

Bulls is lobbing unique eBikes into the market, such as the Dail-E Grinder. This eTrekking and eCommuting rig competes in a class of its own with S-pedelec allowing the eBike to pedal assist up to 28 mph, Shimano Di2 electronic shifting, drop bars and Supernova front and rear lights, and comes cargo ready.

For those looking for maximum comfort and stiffness while keeping the weight low, Bulls offers the E-Stream EVO Carbon 3 27.5+. This carbon eMTB is equipped with 90nm torque so a rider never lacks the necessary punch to get moving. Unlike most eBikes on the market, its fully-integrated battery allows a rider enough space to mount a water bottle cage.

The full-suspension Monster E FS eFatbike is ready to serve riders who live in more rugged areas regularly facing snowstorms and riders who frequently escape to lands of deep sands or other challenging terrains. With a RockShox Bluto RL Solo Air 120mm fork and a 120mm RockShox Monarch RT in the rear, the Monster E FS can happily tackle any terrain, in any conditions.

Ripping up to 28mph, the E-Stream EVO 45 FS debuts as a full-suspension 650b+ eMTB with S-pedelec. With a Shimano XT groupo, a RockShox Pike RC 27.5 Solo Air 150mm in the front, a RockShox Monarch RT 120mm in the rear and the most powerful mid-drive motor and eBike battery on the market, a rider will be easily inspired to ride longer, harder and faster.

Bulls rounds out a collection that offers an eBike for every rider with models such as the SIX50 E 2 Street, an eTrekking rig where electric off-road mobility and practicality intersect. Reaching its S-pedelec maximum speed of 28mph in union with a 500 watt-hour Bosch battery that has a 134 mile range in optimal conditions, a rider can now enjoy the ultimate fusion of comfort, leisure and athleticism on this trail-ready eBike.

With a rolling collection of traditional bikes, Bulls is inaugurating the Copperhead Carbon series, a carbon cross-country MTB series; the Wild Cup 3, a true all-mountain bike with 140mm travel front and rear; and the Grinder 2, a carbon-fork cyclocross bike fit for a racer.

Eleven eBike models and three traditional bikes will all be available for test riding at Interbike: at the Interbike Outdoor Demo on Sept. 19-20 at the Bulls booth #D2073 in Bootleg Canyon, as well as at the

Interbike Indoor Demo test course on Sept. 21-23  at the Bulls booth #CIR26. The entire fleet will also be present at the Bulls Bikes booth #5224, where you can familiarize with the bikes, meet the brains behind Bulls and enjoy a cold beer and enter the Bulls eBike Giveaway at its Biergarten booth party on Thursday at 4:30-6:00 p.m.
