Founded by husband and wife team, Paul and Ciara McGriskin, Bopworx recognized a need for reusable bike protection. Scratch after scratch, ding after ding, on bikes and cars and hotel room walls, Paul and Ciara thought there had to be a better solution than the alternative makeshift ways. With Paul’s background as a ceramicist and architect he designed the products using both durable rubber, hard plastic, hook and latch systems, with no tools required, so they are completely reusable.
Bopworx’s newest addition to their product line, Bopwrap, is be available in two different sizes, small and large. Bopwrap can be attached to frame tubing, forks, and even flexible enough to wrap around handle bars and pedals whenever you need to protect your bike (or your car). This incredibly flexible protection is Bopworx’s most versatile product for each unique need.
While Bopwrap can be used on its own, Bopworx recommends using Bopwrap in combination with other Bopworx products for maximum protection when traveling, shipping, or storing your bike.
The Bop Bumper (single sided) and Double Bumper (double sided) offer similar design attaching to any point on your bike and creating a pad of protection between multiple bikes on a rack, your bike and vehicle, and so much more. Each uses Bopworx’s hook and latch system to secure it tightly and fit with different shapes and sizes of bikes out on the market.
The Rear Derailleur Guard protects from any bumps or compression that may come in contact with your rear derailleur, keeping both the hanger and derailleur safe while transporting your bike.
The Fork Guard protects your fork by offering an axle spacer to eliminate compression, but also provides outer wheels to help make loading your bike in your vehicle and packing your bike that much easier, while protecting dropout tips from damage.
