(Logan, UT— October 11, 2016) — Altra Footwear will release a limited edition version of its best-selling road shoe, the Torin, to celebrate running in New York City.
Highlighting the urban scene, the new Altra Torin NYC displays New York landmarks with different city icons for the men’s and women’s models. The shoe is black with colorful images of the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge and more on a graffiti-inspired background. Even the shoe’s tongue features an Altra-ized version of NYC subway station signage to highlight the brand’s “Zero Limits” motto. The speckled gray midsole grounds the shoe with street vibe. A new feature on the Altra Torin NYC are wrap-around reflective heels and toe caps to keep you visible while running around the city that never sleeps. With a stack height of 28mm and plush cushioning, the Altra Torin NYC is ideal for all levels of runners.

The Altra Torin NYC will be released on October 11 and sold through Altra’s East Coast specialty running store retailers, REI in Manhattan and select online running shoe retailers. The Altra Torin NYC will retail for $130 and since it’s a limited edition, it’s sure to sell out fast.
The public is invited to the launch party on November 3 at the REI Soho location which includes a pre-marathon shake-out run, prizes, giveaways and more.
