Wiivv Insoles Are Now Available Across App Platforms with Expanded International Reach

VANCOUVER, Canada – October 5, 2016 – Following one of the most successful launches in 3D product history, Wiivv Wearables Inc., a Vancouver based bionics company that creates custom, 3D-printed insoles, has released their direct to consumer app on Android. The award winning insoles can now be created through Wiivv’s customizable app on both iOS and Android devices and are now available in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand in addition to the United States and Canada. This comes shortly after becoming one of Kickstarter’s most funded 3D printed products and 3rd most funded footwear product in the leading crowdfunding sites history.

“Since the launch in January we have been humbled by the demand for our product and our team got straight to work on making it more accessible,” said Shamil Hargovan, Wiivv Wearables CEO and Co-founder. “We’re incredibly excited to be realizing our dream of offering millions of people the opportunity to get pain relief and live more active lives through our technology.”

Wiivv users, in a matter of minutes, capture their unique foot telemetry by taking five photos from an iOS or Android smartphone. The result is a patent-pending insole design that aims to promote proper alignment, lessen fatigue, and reduce pain in the foot, knees, hip and back. By offering a custom fit for $79 that is tailored not only to the individual but also to each foot, Wiivv is disrupting the traditional methods by making available affordable, high quality, custom foot insoles.

“When we learned the Fiji Rugby Team won a gold medal after training in Wiivv insoles we knew we had a hot global product,” shared Louis-Victor Jadavji, Wiivv Wearables Co-founder and Chief Evangelist. “Whether you are an Olympic athlete like Martha McCabe, or a barista doing a double shift, if you make a living on your feet Wiivv has you covered.”

About

Growing up in Colorado you can't help but love the outdoors. Something magical happens with 300 days of sunshine and the Rocky Mountains in your back yard. My athletic endeavors started on the bike, I would get out and ride whenever I could. In 2011 I moved to Oxford, England for work. I missed the sunshine and mountains, but discovered my passion for running. When I moved back to Colorado I started combining cycling and running, so it was only natural that I started competing in triathlons. I took second place at my first sprint, and caught the bug. Today I'm training for my fourth Ironman.
