TBI’s 2016 Interbike Triathlon Pavilion is Presented by Quintana Roo

Las Vegas, NV  – Triathlon industry organization Triathlon Business International (TBI) today announced that Quintana Roo will be the presenting sponsor of the 25,000 square foot Triathlon Pavilion at Interbike September 21-24.  The Triathlon Pavilion presented by Quintana Roo is a dedicated space located between booth 20033 and 20023 in Bayside B that brings together all things multisport,   providing a resource to bicycle retailers and manufacturers on how to reach triathletes, a growing segment of the bike industry.

TBI and Quintana Roo will host six workshops by industry experts talking about how the sport and business of triathlon ties into the bike business. They will also host a “Pinot & Pints” reception on Wednesday evening and a coffee station Wednesday through Friday mornings, offering multiple opportunities to network, learn new things, make new contacts, talk to new resources and potentially make an unexpected deal. There is also an enter-to-win raffle for one lucky Interbike attendee to win QR’s newly-released PRthree tri bike.

Interbike 2016 is September 21 – 23 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. TBI initially joined forces with Interbike in 2012 to host the Triathlon Pavilion, originally a 5,000 square foot area, making 2016 the fifth consecutive successful year of collaboration between the two entities. The show is the largest annual gathering of the bicycle industry in North America. Show hours are 9AM – 6PM Wednesday and Thursday, and 9AM to 4PM on Friday.

January 22-24, 2017 TBI Conference

The 2017 Conference will be at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel from Sunday through Tuesday, January 22-24.  For the first time, TBI and USA Triathlon are collaborating to consecutively present their respective annual conferences. USA Triathlon’s Race Director Symposium will be the 20th through the 22nd with TBI and USA Triathlon presenting joint programming on Sunday, January 22nd. Registration will open soon after Interbike.

Growing up in Colorado you can't help but love the outdoors. Something magical happens with 300 days of sunshine and the Rocky Mountains in your back yard. My athletic endeavors started on the bike, I would get out and ride whenever I could. In 2011 I moved to Oxford, England for work. I missed the sunshine and mountains, but discovered my passion for running. When I moved back to Colorado I started combining cycling and running, so it was only natural that I started competing in triathlons. I took second place at my first sprint, and caught the bug. Today I'm training for my fourth Ironman.
