This year, the RunSignUp Community is introducing an annual program to give back to charities who promote running or utilize running as a way to improve their communities. The Grant Program will be an annual donation, with nominations collected from the wider RunSignUp Community, and awards decided by the Customer Advisory Board. In the first year, nearly 100 nominations were submitted and narrowed to eleven finalists for the Advisory Board Vote.
Yesterday the RunSignUp Customer Advisory Board voted to distribute the pool of $10,000 among five unique charities. The results are as follows:
Ainsley’s Angels: $1,000
Back on My Feet: $1,000
Students Run Philly Style: $2,000
Healthy Kids Running Series: $3,000
Wings of America: $3,000
RunSignUp will be contacting each organization and making our contributions later this week.
