Sausalito, California, September 7, 2016 – OutsidePR today announced two significant personnel moves, welcoming back Devon (Sibole) Malizia — who is returning to the agency as an Account Manager — and promoting Jess Smith, who will be stepping up as OutsidePR’s first-ever Vice President.
Devon first joined OutsidePR in 2008 as an Account Coordinator and quickly ascended to roles of increased responsibility, handling clients like Sugoi, Pearl Izumi, AlterG and DownTek. After five years with OutsidePR, Devon moved across the country and started a family, but following the successful launch of her business, (devo: nutrition for moms), she has been looking forward to getting back into her first love: the outdoor industry.
“I left the outdoor industry with every intention of returning,” said Malizia. “But timing was a big factor. In other agency news and after three years at OutsidePR managing high value clients Red Bull, BUFF, AlterG, Sustainable Down Source and Cotopaxi, Jess Smith has been named the agency’s first-ever Vice President.
