July 21, 2016 – Seattle, Washington – nuun and company, the top-selling sports drink brand in run, bike and outdoor specialty stores, is excited to host the “Challenge Dash – Make Your Miles Count” virtual race fundraiser in support of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) taking place on August 26-29, 2016 in partnership with Triathlete Magazine, Garmin, Oiselle, Ciele and FitFam. Proceeds for the event are being donated to the CAF Elite Paratriathon Team to help support their athlete’s competitive pursuits.
The Challenge Dash is an opportunity for athletes across the globe to join together and run to make their miles count for a meaningful cause. nuun has teamed up with FitFam, which provides virtual challenge experiences to help inspire people of all ages and abilities to further live out an active lifestyle and connect with other athletes across the country. Participants can run the 5K or 10K distance and submit their time and experience between August 26-29, 2016 to be eligible for special prizes and awards.
The full registration includes a swag package consisting of a race t-shirt, bib number and finisher’s medal. Proceeds from all registration options are donated to CAF and there is an option for anyone to donate funds to the organization. Triathlete Magazine, Garmin, Oiselle, and Ciele and nuun are collectively promoting the event and have donated product for several categories of awards including Best Photo (individual and group), Best Hydration Photo, Most Inspirational, Fastest 5K, And Fastest 10K.
