imATHLETE Partners with BibRave, Brings Free Marketing Resource to Events

SANTA MONICA, Calif., (Oct 5, 2016) – imATHLETE (imATHLETE.com), a leading online registration company that is changing the way event organizers interact with their participants, is now bringing grassroots marketing services to its clients via BibRave, the industry-leading social media, blog,  and influencer marketing provider.

And the best part?  imATHLETE clients pay nothing for the service. Zero. Nada. Nil. It’s free to them.

Portland, Oregon-based BibRave has a proven history of driving more awareness and registrations for events like the Honolulu Marathon, Buffalo Marathon, and, Vermont City Marathon. Leveraging their extensive national network of running ambassadors, BibRave helps events reach more runners via peer-to-peer and word-of-mouth promotion.

When asked for comment, Jeff Matlow, imATHLETE’s CEO said, “Last year, the number of races in the U.S. increased by 8%, while the number of finishers decreased by 9%. We are committed to helping our clients continue to grow their businesses in an increasingly fragmented market. By providing BibRave services, we’re offering yet another valuable tool to help minimize the workload and maximize the revenue for event organizers.”

“imATHLETE has a great reputation for innovation and client service, as is evident through their work with the Los Angeles Marathon, Detroit Marathon, Cap City Half and all the other big-name events they work with,” said Tim Murphy, co-founder of BibRave. “We’re thrilled to partner with such a strong team to make these great events even better!”

With a client family that includes the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon, Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, Philadelphia Marathon, OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, Bike New York and BMW Dallas Marathon among thousands more, imATHLETE is committed to partnering with the best in the industry to bring event organizers solutions that create a great participant experience, grow their events, and reduce workload.

About

Growing up in Colorado you can't help but love the outdoors. Something magical happens with 300 days of sunshine and the Rocky Mountains in your back yard. My athletic endeavors started on the bike, I would get out and ride whenever I could. In 2011 I moved to Oxford, England for work. I missed the sunshine and mountains, but discovered my passion for running. When I moved back to Colorado I started combining cycling and running, so it was only natural that I started competing in triathlons. I took second place at my first sprint, and caught the bug. Today I'm training for my fourth Ironman.
