Kristen Heimerl, Principal – Minneapolis: Kristen has a 25+ year track record conceptualizing, leading, developing, and launching growth initiatives for high-profile early-stage to Fortune 500 companies. Her roles have included VP Marketing, Consumer Products Director, Board of Director, and Founder/CEO with experience spanning consumer products, food and beverage, technology, healthcare, education, media/entertainment, financial services, big data, and social entrepreneurship.

Toby Nord, Academic in Residence / Principal – Minneapolis: Toby is the Professional Director of Carlson Ventures Enterprise and responsible for teaching MBA students entrepreneurial skill through experiential learning. He also teaches Entrepreneurship and Innovation and founded the University’s START-UP program. Prior to joining the University, Toby spent 20 years with leading Minneapolis-based companies including Best Buy in Strategy and Innovation. Toby focuses on growth and innovation, start-ups, and is the former Chairman of Zipnosis.

Brad Andress, Principal – Minneapolis: Brad brings 35 years of executive-level experience with premier manufacturing consumer brands and excelled in CMO roles with companies ranging from $100 million to $2 billion. Brad has led successful corporate and divisional growth strategies with brands like Carver, Marquis, Cruisers Yachts, SK Professional Tools, Lund Truck Accessories, Nesco and American Harvest.

Steve Arman, Principal – San Diego:  Steve has extensive experience in numerous industries having begun his career at Arthur Andersen in Los Angeles. He spent 12 years in public accounting and 20 years in private industry. At Time Warner, Inc., he worked in international finance and operations.

Dana Fitzpatrick, Principal – Seattle: Dana is a results-oriented executive with deep experience in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. She’s held key leadership roles at Target, Boston Scientific, and United Health Group where she created and operationalized innovative growth strategies. Dana’s professional passion is combining the best practices of world-class companies with an entrepreneurial scrappiness that fuels profitable growth.

Growing up in Colorado you can't help but love the outdoors. Something magical happens with 300 days of sunshine and the Rocky Mountains in your back yard. My athletic endeavors started on the bike, I would get out and ride whenever I could. In 2011 I moved to Oxford, England for work. I missed the sunshine and mountains, but discovered my passion for running. When I moved back to Colorado I started combining cycling and running, so it was only natural that I started competing in triathlons. I took second place at my first sprint, and caught the bug. Today I'm training for my fourth Ironman.
