Portland, OR – BibRave, the turn-key promotional tool for races and endurance brands, recently launched The BibRave Podcast – a running-themed podcast for endurance athletes of all levels.
Distributed by iTunes and Stitcher, The BibRave Podcast features conversations about a wide variety of running topics, including race planning, race strategy, running gear, fitness, nutrition, and interviews with various running personalities (the show recently hosted Boston Marathon Race Director, Dave McGillivray).
“With 44 reviews and a five-star rating on iTunes in less than a month, we’re off to a great start,” said Tim Murphy, co-founder of BibRave who co-hosts the show along with BibRave Community Manager, Julia Montag. “We’re really excited about contributing to the larger running conversation in a more direct, personal way.”
The BibRave Podcast currently has seven published episodes, and the team expects to deliver a new episode each Friday – just in time for runners’ weekend long runs.
Podcast popularity is definitely on the rise, and BibRave is excited about reaching runners/athletes in this attractive new space. According to comScore, “Compared to the average consumer, podcast listeners are more likely to have a college or higher education, $100k+ household income, and to be early adopters in multiple categories…”

Through their large network of running bloggers, BibRave Pros, and their popular Twitter event, #BibChat, BibRave helps endurance brands and races go beyond simple advertising and truly connect with more runners.
The company’s consumer facing-product is a race review site where runners can learn about a race before signing up, and leave feedback after the event. The brand launched in late 2013 in Chicago and is now based in Portland, Oregon.
